Which Colon Cleanses to Lose Weight: Do They Really Work?

You have waited to long. Now you want to lose ten pounds before your best friends dinner party in just ten days.  You are desperate as you search on-line for the answer. Diet cookies, berries, pills, colon cleanses. Which one is the answer?  You could reach your goal with diet pills, cookies, or berries, but how long will it take? The colon cleanse, I believe will offer you that quick weight loss you are looking for. Many dieters have had successful weight loss in one week or less using a colon cleanse to rid the body of that 5 to 20 pounds of solid waste and fecal material trapped to the colon wall.

Are you one of many who is wondering how a colon cleanse works?  Colon cleanses come in a couple different types.  Some advertise that they will help you lose weight while the other type is a detoxifying cleanse.  If you wish to lose the weight in a week you want the weight loss cleanse.  The colon cleanse works by removing solid waste trapped to the colon walls.  It was reported in the autopsies of John Wayne and Elvis that each of them had almost 20 pounds of solid waste on their colon walls. The average American has five to ten pounds of waste trapped to the colon walls.

When using a colon cleanse, you must read and follow all of the instructions given to you.  Some colon cleanses require that you do not eat anything for one or two days.  These types of colon cleanses are often in a liquid format.  The colon cleanses in pill format may require you to only eat and drink certain things, like fruits and vegetables.  If you buy a colon cleanse that restricts your diet, you are advised to do so.  These diet restrictions are what make it possible for you to lose the weight in a week, as well as allow the colon cleanse to work properly.

When you use a colon cleanse, you are essentially detoxifying, your body.  The colon cleanse will work to push the solid waste out from your colon and off your intestines walls.  This is accomplished either with chemical compounds or though the use of high amounts of fiber. The ideal of a colon cleanse is to promote a healthy well being, but it will also help you lose weight.  As I said before, the average person has anywhere from five to ten pounds of stored waste in their body. Using a colon cleanse correctly, that extra waste will be expelled from your body. This is why you are able to lose weight in a week with a colon cleanse.

If you use a rapid colon cleanse, like one that works in three to five days, you should notice a rapid weight loss. There are some individuals who use colon cleanses to quickly lose weight before a special event like a wedding or a vacation. While you may be able to achieve rapid weight loss with a colon cleanse, it is important that you proceed with caution.  If you do not change the way that you eat (adding 25 to 40 grams of fiber a day to your diet) or add exercise to your daily activities, you may see your weight add back on in as little as few days. This typically happens if you were asked to restrict your diet when using a colon cleanse.  While you do not have to keep up with your restricted diet, you are advised to reduce your junk food intake, increase your fiber uptake and start a daily or at least a weekly exercise program.

As you can see it is possible to lose five to 10 pounds in a week using a colon cleanse. If you are in a pickle and need to lose some weight in a week you may want to give a colon cleanse a try.
