The Beginning, The Middle, The End of Dieting.

There is an absolute beginning, middle and end to dieting and you need to be aware of that. Getting from the beginning of the weight loss program to the end is a process in which you must have a good, efficient diet plan, be vigilant through the middle period and then there’s no uncertainity that you will achieve your goal.

Below are the three stages of dieting so keep reading, because if you think it’s easy then be prepared for a shock – it’s not!
The Start.
There’s usually lots of enthusiasm at the start of a new weight loss program because it’s new and exciting, however take care that you channel that enthusiasm the right way. Start your diet by cutting down the calories, but you need to still have healthy meals and snacks regularly. Now you’re also going to have to be on a good exercise program which will have some resistance training – make sure you find something that is fun to do.
Be realistic about your goal.In the beginning you’ll have lots of enthusiasm which may result in you setting to higher goals, this could mean that you will give up on your goal after 3-4 weeks. It’s so much more productive to have smaller steps that are achievable and stay with them – you’ll win in the end.
The middle bit.
Sticking to the “bit in the middle” is the hardest part as the newness of the weight loss program has now gone. You are at the point of the day to day grind but you must stick with it in order to achieve.So you need some assistance to get you through this stage so begin by making some small changes in order to “mix it up”.Making changes to your exercise routine and by being creative with new, healthy recipies you’ll add variety to this part. Don’t forget to reward yourself when you achieve each goal.

We’ve all had a day or two where we’ve been a bit low and we’ve pigged out. But it’s absolutely crucial that you remember that the middle bit is difficult so don’t beat yourself up about it and if you do trip up you just get right back into it and don’t despair and give up on the diet. Please accept that you are going to fall off the program from time to time, but that doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It is very interesting to know that research shows that dieting that include some form of social like participation are generally to be better than those that don’t. This is brilliant when you get to the hard stage.There are lots of ways of doing this. Getting through the finish is very hard and if you have lost the weight you aimed for then hearty congratulations to you. This is a real achievement and you should be extremely proud of your effort and dedication. Give yourself a huge pat on the back for achieving this milestone. Now you have to tell yourself that this is forever and a life change commitment. That means that just because you’ve attained your goal weight you certainly can’t go back to old habits!
