The body’s metabolism is how it converts the food you eat into fuel. Quite simply, the higher your metabolism, the quicker you’ll burn up those calories. And the lower it is, the fatter you’ll get. Let’s find out how to increase your metabolism so you can shed those pounds.
So, calories give your body energy. Each and every one of the cells in your body is fueled by the food you eat. These calories give you the energy you need to do everything in your life. The more active you are, the faster you will burn through the calories you eat, and the faster you’ll lose weight.
To lose weight you will have to up your metabolism. We want to boost your resting metabolism, to be more specific. When you do this, you’ll be able to lose weight without having to work out so much.
This requires you to change your lifestyle a bit. This means diet and exercise. Once you do both of these, you’ll see those pounds fall away and never haunt you again.
Diet: It probably won’t be easy to get in the habit of getting different foods. But it probably won’t need to completely change every thing you eat. Begin by eating five or so smaller meals each day. Then you can start finding foods to eat to lose weight. You’ll probably benefit from eating more carbohydrates and less fats.
Workout: We’ll be doing both aerobic and resistance training. Aerobic exercises like running and bicycling will help you actively burn calories. Resistance training is not just for bodybuilder. After each workout, your muscles will eat up all those calories you eat to rebuild and repair themselves.
Follow both of these and your metabolism will skyrocket and your weight will drop significantly.
